State Privacy Rights
Last updated: 2026-08-16
In effect from: 16 Aug 2026
For readers in California (under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA) and in other US states that have enacted comprehensive privacy legislation (Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah among them), this notice sits on top of the Privacy Policy and adds the disclosures those laws require.
Your Rights
Rights available include access — knowing what is held and why — correcting inaccuracies, requesting deletion, receiving a portable copy, and the right to opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising. Where state law provides an appeal against a denied request, that is open to you too. Using these rights costs you nothing and changes nothing about the service you receive.
Categories of Personal Information
Three categories are relevant. Identifiers such as IP address and cookie IDs. Internet activity, meaning your interaction with pages on this site. And contact information, which exists only if you supplied it. The sources are your device and, where engaged, our analytics and advertising partners.
Sale/Sharing
Personal information is not sold for money by Weldworknow. That said, where advertising is served, ad partners may receive cookie or device identifiers, and under the CCPA/CPRA and similar statutes that may amount to a ‘sale’ or to ‘sharing’ for targeted advertising. Opt out via Do Not Sell or Share My Information. Under-16 data is not knowingly involved.
How to Submit a Request
Use hello@weldworknow.com for any request under this notice. To opt out you can instead enable Global Privacy Control, which this site detects and respects without further action. Identity is verified through the email address used to write in, replies come within the statutory period, and authorised agents may act with written permission.
